Free Children's CraftsChildren's crafts are fun and usually quick to do so that children do not lose their concentration. The kid's crafts that I have here for you take about 1 to 2 hours to do, depending on the skill level of your child and they are made from scraps found around your home or at the bottom of your craft cupboard. Some crafts require time to dry. All of these crafts were done by the children, ages 4 to 13, where I work in less than one hour with some help from parents and staff. Cookie Dough Ornament Craft - Made from a simple mix of cornstarch, salt and water, these ornaments can be created for Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day or even as a nice gift for Grandparent's Day. Please note that the Cookie Dough Ornaments need to be prepared ahead of time by an adult before the children can decorate them. Christmas Felt Stocking Craft - This beautiful Christmas stocking is a must for holiday decor. Children and adults can let their creativity run wild with decorating the stocking with glitter and fabric scraps. Easter Pin Styrofoam Egg Craft - Beautiful and shiny Easter eggs and bunny rabbits can be created using half of a styrofoam egg, a pin-back and some craft paints. Paint a T-shirt Craft - A cute craft for kids of all ages. Uses fabric paint, fabric markers or 3D fabric paint and a t-shirt or other clothing item. Makes a great craft idea for birthday parties or children's groups. Spring Mini-Basket Craft - These mini-baskets are not just for Spring. Use them as centre-pieces at weddings or parties, or change the flower colours to reflect the changing seasons. Valentine's Day Butterfly Craft - this cute butterfly is made out of construction paper and glitter. The kids will love this make this cute little insect anytime. Valentine's Day LoveBug Wool Craft - A ball of colourful yarn, a pipe cleaner, some googlie eyes and some scraps from around the house all go together to make up this adorable LoveBug for Valentine's Day. This is a cute project for group leaders to teach children braiding (or plaiting).
